3 Facebook Marketing Tips To Increase Engagement
On 5th April 2019 | 0 Comments | digital marketing, facebook advertising, Marketing, Social Media Marketing |

Facebook advertising has changed in recent years. A simple like, share or comment is no longer enough to maintain an active business page. It is now much harder to capture the audience’s attention.

It is all about creativity now.

Keep reading to discover how to make your content more creative and shareable so that you can capture the attention of your target audience!

1. Use Visual Content

Using creative, eye-catching images can sky-rocket engagement levels. So this is an opportunity not to be missed!

  • If you are posting an article, a piece of motivation, or success tips – pair with an eye-catching image. Fans are more drawn towards images while scrolling through the news feed.
  • Even if you are at/hosting an event, take a picture of the surroundings and share it.
  • Fans love behind-the-scenes insights. Capture a few images from the office and share them! The audience will feel like they are a part of the brand.

Try to pick a similar theme/look across all of the imagery. This makes your brand easily recognizable and creates brand awareness.

Video is also an excellent form of visual content, whether previously recorded or recorded live. Live video is very popular. Facebook Live alone is already one of the most powerful social media tools marketers can and should leverage.

2. Create a Strategy, System and Schedule

Consistency is key when it comes to building engagement with your fans.

A very simple and useful technique is a “posting calendar.” Your content will be consistent if you implement a posting calendar in your Facebook strategy. This allows for planning ahead instead of last minute searching for content to share.

And don’t forget to schedule your posts to publish regularly throughout the week. A checklist of daily to-do’s will save you time and brain cells.

  3. Post Timely Content

It is important to keep up to date with industry news. It also looks good if you share that information on a consistent basis.

Why so? Keep reading…

1. Sharing trending or hot topics, lets you add context around the content

Adding your thoughts around a particular topic is a great way to establish expertise. Fans follow you because, well, they are fans… They want to hear from you and your thoughts, opinions and expertise.

If you share an article from a newspaper, caption the status with your own opinion!

2.When you post timely content your fans find interesting, they’re more inclined to share

Sharing, just like commenting or Liking a post, can increase your reach and page engagement. And just like the timeliness of your content matters, so does the timing. When you post is crucial, regardless of how appealing your content may be. If you’re sharing your content at a time when most of your audience is asleep or at work, there’s a huge chance your post might not get the amount of shares it deserves.

Have a look at your own analytics and determine when your audience is online and when they are most active.
