Using Social Media to Attract More Customers
On 8th March 2019 | 0 Comments | digital marketing, Marketing Strategy, Social Media Marketing |

To attract more customers via social media, you have to stand out. The marketplace is highly competitive, so standing out, means earning attention in a short amount of time. To do this, you need a strategy.

Attract more leads, customers, and sales with the right plan!

Follow these 5 steps…

1. Stay Engaged

It’s recommended to engage with your followers daily. This will allow them to understand that you’re trying to build a relationship with them and that you’re not just pushing content. It shows that there’s a real person behind the content and the brand.

Keeping an eye out for mentions of the brand. Respond to mentions! It will give you a chance to start conversations and get to know your audience.

The audience can also learn more about you.

  2. Make Your Content Valuable

Don’t post content for the sake of it. Before posting articles and social media posts, question whether it is relevant, relatable, inspirational, aspirational, or educational.

Yon’t post it if it isn’t any of the above. Your audience don’t want random, uninspired content that they can find anywhere!

Content as simple as sharing tips, answering frequently asked questions or product use demonstrations work.

  3. Make Visual Content Creative

An interesting statistic shows that when people read a piece of content, they only remember 10% of it 3 days later. Whereas if the content includes an image, they remember 65% of it.

Creative, visual content catches attention.

An example of how you can make your content more visual…

Pick an article, collect the important points, and create an infographic or turn into a video.

  4. Understand the Right Timing

Your content can get buried if you don’t share your content when your target audience is online. Timing is so important.

Although there are some general statistics, there’s no universal time that works for everyone.

Look inside your analytics to determine when your audience is online and the most engaged. Facebook Insights is a great place to start.

  5. Be Data Driven

If you want to see real results, you can’t “hope” something will work, you need to know that it will. That means being data-driven in all of your business decisions.

Keep a constant eye on your data to determine how your marketing decisions are affecting your business. Use that information to adjust your strategies and make data-informed decisions about the future.

Sources of data:

  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook Insights
  • Twitter Analytics
  • Social Dashboards
